Stack-and-Shred 100X is a cross cut shredder intended for personal use and offers super quiet shredding thereby making it an ideal shredder for compact yet shared workspaces. This cross cut shredder can automatically shred up to 100 stacked sheets in a single iteration and its Auto+ technology offers absolutely hands free shredding- which means you can attend to various office chores while the Swingline 100X automatically does its job!

Swingline 100X is a security level-3 shredder and generates a cross cut size of 1/4 inches. The shredder's self clean feature keeps shredded waste particles from cluttering the blades while its automatic jam clearance feature eliminates any kind of paper jams. Swingline Stack-and-Shred 100X can cut through plastic (credit cards etc), paper and metal (paper clips, staples). This cross cut shredder has a 9 inch wide feed opening and a shred speed of 7 feet per minute. Swingline 100X boasts a pull out bin capacity of 7 gallons.

Shredders Security Standards

Paper shredders fall into six levels of security level 1 (lowest) to level 6 (highest) as defined in DIN32757. These levels have been defined under different considerations about information media and security required. For normal home use then a lower level of security is suitable. For an office where information such as personnel and wage documents are being disposed, then a higher level (cross cut shredder model) would be suitable.
