The Swingline DX18-13 is a cross cut shredder. This Swingline shredder has a security level-3 configuration – which makes Swingline DX18-13 ideal for departmental use. This cross cut shredder shreds paper, optical media, credit cards, staples, and paper clips. Swingline DX18-13 has a 10 inch wide throat size. This Swingline shredder has a shred speed of 16 feet per minute.

The Swingline DX18-13 shredder can shred continuously owing to its Jam Free technology. This cross cut shredder blinks and pauses shredding in case its paper capacity exceeds. This Jam Free shredder features thermal overload protection. Swingline DX18-13 can thus operate without overheating. The DX18-13 Jam Free shredder reduces energy costs by automatically going into sleep mode.

Paper shredders fall into six levels of security level 1 (lowest) to level 6 (highest) as defined in DIN32757.
