The Swingline DSM07-13 is Swingline's top of the line shredder departmental shredder. It feature security level 5 and is suitable for shredding highly classified material. The micro cut shredding style makes Swingline DSM07-13 more secure than other cross cut or strip cut shredders.

The Swingline DSM07-13 shredder is a Jam Free shredder. This micro cut shredder uses Swingline's advanced Jam Free shredding technology. The Jam Free shredder comes with a blinker that indicates in case more papers are fed than the shredder's paper feed capacity. The Swingline shredder features thermal overload protection.

The Swingline DSM07-13 shredder has a wire-frame waste bin lining that allows the use of either paper or plastic bags for collection of shredder waste. The micro cut shredder utilizes SelfOil for automatic oiling of the blades. The micro cut shredder's performance is thus gets more smooth along with the shredder's durability.

Shredders Security Standards

Paper shredders fall into six levels of security level 1 (lowest) to level 6 (highest) as defined in DIN32757. These levels have been defined under different considerations about information media and security required. For normal home use then a lower level of security is suitable. For an office where information such as personnel and wage documents are being disposed, then a higher level (cross cut shredder model) would be suitable.


Level 1

Description:

Best for low level security – general paperwork

For shredding general internal document like vouchers, forms, etc
